I've always enjoyed exploring Dumaguete City. People call it the "City of Gentle People" because of how calm it is and how friendly everyone is. Every place in the city has its own story, and I love Dumaguete even more because of it. The Boulevard is one of my favorite places to go. The view of the sea always calms me down, whether it's early in the morning or at sunset. I love sitting by the seawall and watching the waves and people go by. It's a simple reminder of how beautiful life can be when you slow down and take it all in.

I usually stop by Sans Rival Bistro after a nice walk. Their silvanas and sans rival cake are so good that you can't resist them. It feels like a small reward to eat there after a long day, and the view of the ocean from the café makes it even better. I go to the Tiangge whenever I want to feel the city's energy. The colorful stalls, the smell of street food, and the lively atmosphere make me appreciate how hard and creative Dumagueteños are. It's the best place to find hidden gems and enjoy the little things in life.

Finally, Silliman University is very important to me. It feels peaceful to walk under its old acacia trees, almost like going back in time. Dumaguete is truly unique because its campus shows both history and learning. I find comfort, culture, and connection all over Dumaguete. It keeps reminding me why it's called the City of Gentle People.
