I have lived in Dumaguete City all my life and one of the things I love most about it is how laid-back and peaceful it is. Unlike big busy cities Dumaguete feels calm and relaxed. You can enjoy your day without rushing and the city’s quiet vibe makes it a great place

to live or just visit.
I also love that Dumaguete is a small city. Everything is easy to get to and people are friendly. It feels like a close-knit community where everyone knows each other. Even though it’s small, the city has a lot to offer. One of my favorite spots is Rizal Boulevard, right by the sea. It’s a nice place to walk, watch the sunset, or just sit and enjoy the ocean breeze. Being near the beach makes Dumaguete feel even more peaceful and refreshing.
People here are friendly and it’s easy to make new friends. The city is also popular with retirees and foreigners who love its calm lifestyle. Many come backpacking or decide to stay because it’s affordable and comfortable.
What I like most about Dumaguete is that it has a peaceful vibe but still has interesting places to visit. You can enjoy the beach, the university, local markets, and yummy food, all without feeling rushed. Dumaguete may be small, but it has a lot of heart.
For me, Dumaguete is not just a city it’s home. It’s a place where people can relax, enjoy nature, meet others, and just live a simple and happy life. That’s why I really love living here.
